A column that looks quarried a century ago and lifts like a hatbox.

Petra is a tall square display pedestal in iron, her panelled sides rising from a stepped base to a moulded cap, the whole of her in a mottled aged stone look finish that reads as weathered masonry from a step away. Being iron underneath, she moves in one pair of hands rather than four.

At 105cm tall she lifts an urn, a statue, or a trailing plant to shoulder height, flanking a doorway, anchoring a courtyard corner, or standing sentry at the end of a hallway.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth. She tolerates a covered porch or verandah, but direct rain will hurry the finish along, so under cover is her happy place. Use a saucer under any potted plant and keep her load centred.

Because Petra is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
