Bruna is a display pedestal in the form of a classical column, her fluted shaft hung with carved ribbon and garland swags and trailed with bands of tulip buds. Cast in magnesia composite, her aged white finish is speckled and rubbed through to warm gold at the base, the look of stone that has stood outdoors for a lifetime.
At 92cm tall she lifts a pot, an urn, a bust, or a trailing fern to exactly where the eye wants it, in an entry, beside a fireplace, or holding the corner of a room that needed a full stop.
