Elio is a wall shelf topped with a carved petal crest that fans out like a half bloom above the ledge. His heavily chipped white finish gives way to warm timber tones, gold, and traces of grey blue, with two dark metal hooks hanging below for the useful things.
At 40cm wide and just under 30cm tall he is a small piece with a big presence, right for an entry, a kitchen wall, or the powder room where one beautiful thing is all the wall needs.

Elio hangs flat against the wall. Fixings are not included, so choose anchors suited to your wall type and rated for the shelf plus whatever it will hold.
Is the chipped paint intentional?
Yes, entirely. The white is rubbed and chipped back by hand to reveal the timber, gold, and grey layers beneath, so he arrives already carrying his history.
What is he made of?
The body and carved crest are MDF beneath the distressed painted finish, with hooks in dark aged metal.
What can the hooks hold?
The two hooks suit mugs, keys, tea towels, and light bags. For heavier coats we suggest a dedicated rack, and always mount him with fixings matched to your wall.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The distressing is worked by hand, so where the white gives way to the layers beneath varies from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
Because Elio is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
