Elliott is a tall hurricane lantern that sets a clear glass sleeve inside a welded wire grid. The frame and cap are built from aged metal in a weathered grey finish, chalky and softly worn, with a pierced band below the domed top, a teardrop finial and a ring handle. A clear glass sleeve holds the candle, and the grid lays a soft shadow over the glow.
At 49 cm it is the taller of the two sizes, a centre-of-the-table or end-of-the-mantel piece. Stand it on a console, a hearth or a covered outdoor table, on its own or beside the shorter version for a graduated pair. The clear glass keeps the flame steady, so it carries to a sheltered verandah on a still night.

How to style it
It earns its place anywhere a soft, low light belongs.

Care & Keeping
Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, and lift out the glass sleeve to wash it clear of soot now and then. Keep the metal dry; the weathered grey finish is chalky by design, so wipe rather than scrub. Indoors or under cover outdoors is best, since steady damp will mark the finish over time.
