Desiree is a decorative dish in antique gold metal, cast in the shape of a long leaf. A raised rib runs down the centre with veins branching off to each side, the surface is finely dotted, and the edges are cut into soft points like a real leaf. There is a short stem at one end, and the centre dips into a shallow tray.
It is about 53 cm long, so it works as a centrepiece down the middle of a table or along a console. Use it to hold a few pieces of fruit, some baubles, or simply on its own as a sculptural piece. The aged gold has a soft, mottled finish that catches the light. The candle, book, fruit and other props in the photos are styling and are not included.
