Elba is a bench in distressed white timber, her scrolled ends rising at each side with turned ball finials, and a woven jute herringbone seat stretched between them. The white is chipped back to timber along the rails and legs, the wear landing exactly where years of hands would put it.

At 139cm across the scrolls she runs the foot of a queen bed, sits under a window, or gives an entry somewhere to put shoes on, with the flared legs keeping her silhouette light.

Care & Keeping

Vacuum the jute seat gently with a brush head and dust the frame with a soft dry cloth. Blot spills promptly rather than rubbing, and keep her indoors away from damp.
