Dimitri hangs flat against the wall. Fixings are not included, so choose anchors suited to your wall type, and use wall plugs rated for the weight of the shelf plus whatever it will hold.
Is the chipped paint intentional?
Yes, entirely. The white is rubbed and chipped back by hand to reveal the grey and gold layers beneath, so he arrives already carrying his history.
What is he made of?
The body is MDF beneath the distressed painted finish, with metal hooks in an antique brass finish.
What can the hooks hold?
The three hooks suit keys, hats, scarves, and light bags. For anything heavier we suggest a dedicated coat rack, and always mount him with fixings matched to your wall.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The distressing is worked by hand, so where the white gives way to grey and gold varies from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
