Andrea is a footed flower vase in the campana shape, a flared bowl on a turned pedestal foot. The upper bowl is wrapped in scrollwork relief, the lower bowl is fluted, and the whole piece is finished in a distressed antique white worn right back to the warm terracotta of the magnesia beneath.

It stands about 27.5 cm tall and 18.5 cm across, made from cast magnesia composite, a stone-like material. The flared mouth holds a loose, gathered arrangement well, so it suits dried stems, faux blooms or a few branches, and it sits just as happily empty as a small classical piece on a mantel or table.

Dust with a soft dry brush or cloth. The chalky finish and the worn patches are part of the aged look rather than faults. Keep Andrea indoors or under cover. It suits dried and faux stems best, so for fresh flowers sit a small watertight jar inside rather than filling the vase with water, since magnesia is porous and water sitting in it can mark the finish and your surface.
