Bruno is a footed urn planter in iron, his flared cup carrying a raised damask emblem on the front and a pair of ornate cast handles curling at his sides. He stands on a turned pedestal foot with a beaded rim, and every surface wears a mottled rust and gold patina over soft grey.
At 26.5cm tall he holds a fern, dried lavender, or the week's flowers on a hall table, a kitchen bench, or a sheltered verandah shelf.

The rust tones are part of the applied patina, layered with gold over the grey ground so he arrives looking like a genuine old find and stays that way.

With a jar of water inside, happily. Dried stems can go straight in, and they suit his old world colouring beautifully.
