A little gabled house in natural pine, two open shelves and a single rail across the bottom for a tea towel or a trailing stem.

Alderic is a wall shelf shaped like a house, a peaked gable top over two open shelves, built from natural pine with the grain and knots left on show. The timber carries a soft mid-brown stain, so it reads warm and lived-in rather than raw.

It stands 70cm tall and 45cm wide. Below the lower shelf, a single wooden rail runs across the frame, the right spot for a tea towel in a kitchen or a hand towel in a bathroom. Fill the two shelves with small pots and books, and hang it wherever you want a bit of display.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills quickly so they do not soak into the timber. Keep it indoors and out of damp, and use a coaster or liner under any planted pots to protect the wood. A little furniture wax now and then keeps the finish even.

Because Alderic is made from natural timber, the grain, knots, and tone vary from piece to piece and add to the character of each one. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
