A tall arched window-pane mirror in weathered timber and slim iron mullions; quiet cathedral grandeur, leaned against the wall like it has always been there.
The Laurent stands at a generous 168 cm tall, its arched silhouette and multi-pane window grid drawing the eye upward and bouncing natural light back into the room. The hand-distressed solid fir frame carries the soft patina of a piece that feels collected from a French farmhouse rather than newly bought, while the slim iron mullion grid adds the architectural detail that gives the piece its quiet authority.

The Laurent is a presence, give it a wall it can own and let the rest of the room arrange itself around it. A few of our favourite ways to style:

Care & Keeping
Display indoors only, away from direct moisture and prolonged direct sunlight. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, clean the glass with a slightly damp microfibre, taking care not to soak the timber frame. The distressed finish is intentional; small variations in patina, grain, and iron oxidation are part of the piece's character. For safety, ensure the mirror leans firmly against a flat wall and consider a discreet wall-anchor strap in homes with children or pets.

Can the Laurent be hung on the wall instead of leaned?
The Laurent is designed primarily as a leaner, its tall, narrow proportions and weight make leaning the safest and most flattering presentation. If you'd like to wall-mount it, we strongly recommend a qualified handyperson with appropriate heavy-duty fixings into wall studs, as the mirror weighs 15 kg and the multi-pane glass is not lightweight.
Is it safe with children or pets in the home?
As with any tall leaning mirror, we recommend using a discreet anti-tip wall-anchor strap (available cheaply from any hardware store) to secure the top of the frame to the wall. This is standard practice for any leaning floor mirror and ensures peace of mind in a busy household.
What style of decor does the Laurent suit?

The Laurent is shipped flat in a single protective carton with reinforced corners and foam-lined glass protection. Because of its size (175 cm carton length), please ensure your delivery address has appropriate access, this is a large item and may require two people to manoeuvre into position.

Yes, slightly. Each Laurent is hand-finished, and small variations in the timber grain, distressed paintwork, and iron oxidation are natural. These are not faults; they're part of the piece's character and the reason no two are identical.
