Two handled wire trays with a worn, garden-found look.
Sylvie is a set of two handled trays in distressed whitewashed grey metal. The sides and base are a fine diamond wire mesh, each tray carries a small floral relief panel on the long side, and the handles are scrolled and curved. The finish is a worn grey-white with darker tones showing through, so they look found rather than new.
The larger tray is about 41.5 by 26 cm and the smaller about 37.5 by 22 cm, and they nest together when not in use. Use them as caddies on a console or sideboard, to gather a few potted plants together, to carry tea things by the handles, or to hold towels and bottles in a bathroom. The plants and props in the photos are styling and are not included.

How to style it
A few ways to bring Sylvie into the room.
- Set the larger tray on a console or sideboard to gather candles, a vase and a stack of books.
- Use it in the bathroom for rolled towels, bottles and soaps.
- Carry tea things or breakfast out to the garden table by the handles.
- Group with other pieces from trays and bowls and planters.
Stylist's Tip Split the pair across two rooms rather than keeping them together. The larger one earns its place on a console, the smaller one tidies a bathroom or a potting bench.
Care & Keeping
Wipe with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth and dry it straight after. Keep the trays indoors and out of standing water, as moisture can mark the finish and the mesh over time. For damp pots or anything wet, set a saucer or liner in the base.

How many trays do I get?
Two. A larger tray and a smaller one that nest together. The plants and props in the photos are not included.
Will small things fall through the mesh?
The weave is open, so very small items can slip through. For anything small or fine, set a liner or a cloth in the base first.
Can I use it for plants?
Yes, sit potted plants inside in their own pots. Use a saucer underneath so water does not sit against the mesh.
Can it go outside?
It is made for indoor use. Left outdoors the finish will weather further, so a covered spot is best if you use it outside.
Will each set look the same?
Close to it. Each tray is hand-finished, so the grey-white tone and the worn areas vary a little from one to the next.
Because the Sylvie trays are hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture and tone are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
