Edith is a wall sconce shelf shaped like an old decorative corbel. It is cast in magnesia composite and finished in antique white, with a scrolled filigree front that has the look of carved plaster. A small flat top sits above the bracket, just big enough for a candle, a framed photo, or a little potted plant.

Mount it on its own as a piece of wall decoration, or hang two to flank a doorway, a mirror, or a bed. The bracket shape does the decorative work, and the top gives you a small ledge to style. At 44cm tall it has real presence on the wall, more than a token shelf.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep Edith indoors and out of damp, the magnesia is not sealed for wet areas. At around 4kg it is a solid piece, so fix it into a stud or a proper wall anchor with screws and wall plugs suited to your wall type, and keep what you stand on the top light.

Because Edith is hand-finished, slight variations in tone and antiquing are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
