Myriam French Provincial Footed Urn Planter, Aged Stone-Look Metal

A garden urn in miniature, weathered to look like it has stood through a few seasons already.

Myriam is a footed urn planter shaped after the stone urns of old French gardens. The bowl is pressed metal with a fluted, ribbed body and a band of pierced openwork around the rim, raised on a turned pedestal foot. The finish is an aged stone-look in weathered grey and buff, mottled and rubbed back so it reads as old stone rather than new metal.

It measures 37.5 cm across the rim and stands 30 cm tall, a useful size for a single feature plant or a clipped topiary. Use it indoors as a cachepot, or set it on a covered porch or patio out of direct weather. The metal is light, so it moves easily when you want to restyle. Sold individually, so order two if you would like a matched pair.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, or wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry it off. Keep it out of direct rain and standing water, since the metal can mark or rust over time if it stays wet. For planting, use a liner or a separate pot so soil and moisture do not sit against the inside.

Because Myriam is hand-finished, slight variations in tone and texture are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
