Delphine Metal Urn Planter, Aged French Provincial Garden Urn 41cm

An aged metal urn with the patina of a garden left to its own devices.

Delphine is a footed urn made in metal and finished to look weathered, the surface a soft buff and rust that reads like old stone. A scrollwork cartouche sits at the front below a scalloped rim, and the lower bowl is fluted down to a turned foot and square base. It carries the shape of a classic Medici urn.

At 41 cm tall, Delphine works as a planter or as a sculptural object on its own. Drop a potted fern or trailing ivy inside, or leave it empty on a console, a hearth, or a plinth. It suits an entry, a mantel, or a sheltered spot in the garden.

Care & Keeping

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Delphine is finished as aged metal, so a little surface rust is part of the look. Keep it dry for indoor use. Placed outdoors, the patina will deepen over time, so bring it under cover in long wet spells if you want to slow the change. Use an inner pot for planting.
