Lorraine is a two tier dish stand in antique gold metal, the gold rubbed over a dark aged base so the high points catch the light. Two rounded dishes sit one above the other on a turned baluster stem, set on a fluted foot. A small perched bird rests on the rim of each tier, the detail that gives the piece its character.

It stands tall enough to hold the centre of a table or a sideboard, with the lower dish wider than the upper. The pinecones, seed pod, book, and frame in the photographs are styling props and are not included. The birds are.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, taking care around the birds. Keep it indoors and away from damp so the aged finish stays as it is. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners, which can lift the gold.
