Yannick is the larger of the star-pierced pair, a lantern in aged metal with a weathered rust finish. The body is a tall cylinder of geometric star fretwork, topped by a domed, pierced cap with a ring handle and finial. The cap lifts on a small hinge so you can set a candle inside, and when it is lit the cutwork throws the light out in fine stars.
At 42.5 cm it has good height for a floor corner, a hearth, a console or a big table, indoors or on a covered verandah, and the ring handle means it can hang as well. Use it alone, or beside the smaller Rueben for a graduated pair. The look is French Provincial with a Moroccan, rustic edge.
