Two little baskets with arched handles, the kind you would carry in from the garden.
Meline is a set of two handled baskets in distressed zinc metal, each a shallow round bowl set on three scrolled feet. A tall arched handle rises over the top, with scrolled ends, a coiled wire grip, and a whitewashed leaf trail running up each side. The finish is worn and grey, so the pair looks gathered from a French potting shed rather than new.
One basket is larger and one is smaller, so they sit together or apart. The succulents, soil, plants, urn, and flowers in the photographs are styling props and are not included.

How to style it
A few ways to put the pair to work:
- Drop a small potted plant into each, using a liner or saucer, alongside more from our planters
- Fill the larger one with fruit on a kitchen bench and keep the smaller for trinkets nearby
- Use them on a shelf or sideboard with other pieces from our trays and bowls
- Set one on a covered verandah with a herb pot for a potting-shed feel
Stylist's Tip Sit the smaller basket just in front of the larger one and turn the handles slightly off square, so the pair reads as a little still life rather than a matched line-up.
Care & Keeping
Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. For live plants, sit a liner or inner pot inside rather than planting straight in, and empty out any water so it does not pool. Keep the pair indoors or in a sheltered spot to protect the distressed finish, and avoid harsh chemicals.

Can I plant straight into them?
It is best to sit a potted plant or a liner inside rather than planting directly, so soil and water stay contained. Tip out any water that collects.
Is it suitable for outdoors?
It suits indoor or sheltered use, such as a covered verandah. Keeping it out of rain and weather will protect the distressed finish.
How big are they?
The larger basket is about 23 cm across and 32 cm to the top of the handle. The smaller is about 19 cm across and 25 cm high. Both are tabletop size.
