Beaded chains and gold filigree catch a single flame and scatter it warm.
Mylan is a small ornate lantern, the more compact of a pair. The cap and frame are aged metal in antique gold with a soft verdigris patina, embossed and pierced into a filigree dome, with a ring handle and fine beaded chains draped around a clear glass cylinder. Set a pillar candle inside and the pierced work throws lace-like light around it.
At 29 cm it sits easily on a table, a shelf or a mantel, and the ring handle means it can hang from a hook just as well. Use it alone for a jewel-box glow, or beside the taller Mael for a graduated pair. The look leans French Provincial with a Moroccan, boudoir edge.

How to style it
It brings a small pool of warm light wherever it lands.

Care & Keeping
Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, and use a soft brush to reach into the filigree and beadwork. Lift out the glass cylinder to wash it clear of soot now and then. Keep the metal dry; indoors or under cover outdoors is best, since steady damp will dull the antique gold and verdigris over time.
