Viviane is a corbel wall shelf, a moulded acanthus-and-shell bracket in cast magnesia composite with a fir timber ledge on top. The corbel is finished in a chippy distressed white that has worn back to a sandy base, so it reads like a piece of old architectural salvage pulled from a French villa. The shape scrolls down from a wide top to a shell at the foot.
Fix it to the wall and use the ledge for a single considered object, a small bird, a candle, a short stack of books, or a tiny vase. It works on its own as a sculptural bracket, in a pair either side of a doorway or mirror, or in a row down a hallway. The timber top gives a flat surface against all that scrollwork.

How to style it
Viviane wants one or two pieces, not a crowd. A few ways:
