A fluted Roman column shrunk to plinth height, weathered to the grey-brown of old garden stone and ready to lift a vase or a trailing fern to eye level.
Celeste is the taller of a graduated pair, a 71cm column ribbed with fine vertical fluting and capped top and bottom with a moulded torus rim. It is made from aged metal under a weathered stone-look finish, dry-brushed grey over warm brown so it reads like a salvaged garden column rather than something new.
The 33cm top takes a planted urn or a lantern, and at 2.66kg it is far lighter than solid stone, so one person can move it between the courtyard and the hall. Stand it alone in a corner, or pair it with the shorter Mireille column for a stepped display.
