Sophie is a tapering candle lantern built from fine aged gold metal mesh, with a clear glass hurricane inside to shelter the flame. A moulded fleur-de-lis medallion sits on the front, its scrollwork picked out against the diamond mesh. The fluted dome top lifts on a small clasp and carries a ring handle, so you can hang her or set her down.
