Thibault is the larger of the pair, a pedestal bird feeder cast in slim aged metal with a distressed white finish worn back at the edges. The shallow bowl carries a fine scale texture, and two small birds perch on the rim, cast as part of the piece.

Fill the bowl with seed and stand it where you can watch it from a window. The dish is shallow rather than deep, so it holds a little water for drinking and splashing as well, and indoors it works as a decorative pedestal dish. The bowl lifts off the baluster stem for easy cleaning and refilling.

Care & Keeping

Tip out old seed and wipe the dish between refills, or rinse it and dry it well if it has held water. The aged metal will weather and deepen over time outside, which suits the look; if you would rather keep the distressed white crisp, keep it under cover and empty it before frost. Lift the dish off the stem to clean underneath.
