Parapluie is a set of two iron wall planters shaped like open umbrellas turned upside down, ready to hold a fern, a trailing vine, dried branches or a bouquet of foraged stems. Each planter hangs from a long curved black iron handle styled like an umbrella crook, so the whole piece reads instantly as the object it references. The chippy distressed cream paintwork over dark iron lets the worn metal show through in spots, giving every surface the look of something pulled from a forgotten Provençal garden shed.
The set includes one larger umbrella at 35 cm wide and 54 cm tall (including the hook handle) and one smaller umbrella at 29 cm wide and 40.5 cm tall. The Parapluie set is built to be hung as a pair. A few ways to bring them into the home.
