A mesh dome that lifts to cradle a candle, glowing gold through fine metal.
Amanda is a domed candle holder at 30 cm, a cage of fine aged metal in antique gold, raised on a turned pedestal foot and topped with a small finial. The dome lifts off the pedestal so a pillar candle sits on the plate beneath, then the mesh closes back over it and the flame glows through the weave. Candle not included.
At 30 cm it suits a shelf, a console or a bedside, the lit candle throwing a fine diamond pattern through the gold mesh. It is the smaller of a pair with the 39 cm Cassie candle holder, made to sit together at two heights.

Caged candlelight likes a dark backdrop.
Stylist's Tip A short, wide pillar keeps the flame low beneath the dome and throws the most light through the mesh. A flameless LED pillar gives the same caged glow with no heat.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, or a soft brush to reach into the mesh. Lift the dome to place or trim the candle and to clean the pedestal. Keep it dry and indoors, the antique gold finish can mark with moisture. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
A pillar candle sits on the pedestal beneath the dome, and a flameless LED pillar works just as well. Candle not included.
The dome lifts off the pedestal. Set the candle on the plate, then lower the dome back over it.
30 cm, the smaller of a pair. The taller Cassie candle holder is 39 cm and sold separately.
Best kept indoors. The antique gold finish can mark with moisture.
Each is hand-finished, so the gilt tones and the darker base vary a little from piece to piece.
Because Amanda is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and tone are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
